How Do You Prepare Your Horse for the GCAT America Finals?
Success in Las Vegas starts months before the first class. A structured plan gives your horse the best chance to arrive fit, sound, and ready to shine.
Start Conditioning Early
Begin conditioning and training programs well in advance of October 2026. Gradual, consistent work builds the stamina and muscle strength your horse needs for elite competition. Rushing fitness in the final weeks raises the risk of injury and burnout.
Focus on Recovery and Performance
Peak performance depends on smart recovery. Between training sessions and, later, between competition rounds, your horse needs time to bounce back. Far infrared therapy devices from Gladiator Equine can support this process, helping enhance preparation and accelerate recovery so your horse feels fresh for each performance.
Maintain Peak Physical Condition
Proper nutrition and consistent training protocols keep your horse in top form. Work with your veterinary team to fine-tune feeding, hydration, and rest as competition approaches.
